  10. The release of Directory Opus 4 under the GPL in NO WAY affects the existing
  11. commercial status of Directory Opus 5.

  13. All users of Directory Opus 4, including those licensed under the GPL, are
  14. entitled to upgrade to the latest version of Directory Opus 5 at a discounted

  19. Directory Opus 4 (the last commercial release was 4.12) was compiled under
  20. SAS/C 5. I have modified the source code before release to enable it to be
  21. compiled under SAS/C 6. Compilation with other compilers is certainly
  22. possible, but it is left to the individual to make any changes necessary.

  24. The source code is largely uncommented, messy, spaghettified, and generally
  25. in bad shape. I sincerely recommend you consider upgrading to Directory Opus 5,
  26. the source code of which is _much_ better :)

  28. However, for those of you who still seem stuck on version 4, I hope this GPL
  29. release will prove useful.
